there is this desire in me,

to be a soft, delicate woman

to weave by the fireplace,

to control myself

and speak only with purpose

but the more I try, the more I realize

how completely against my nature this is

I am a loud woman

I will not sit still or calm

I will not wait

I move without purpose, just desire
