chobani greek yogurt reviews!

With carbs and high-protein, greek yogurt makes a great snack, perfect for post workout. I love to eat them after my runs; they sit great on the stomach and are enough to get me until meal time.
Through the many years of living with my “Granola” mother, I’ve tested uncountable brands, varieties and flavors of yogurt. None have come close to the consistent enjoyment as Chobani.
Founded 18 years ago in South Edmeston, NY, Chobani has risen to the top of the yogurt market. Owning more than 20% of the industry, the company dominates sales across the United States.
Plain
It’s Greek yogurt, so it’s thicker/ more creamy than traditional yogurt. The flavor profile is pretty average, but overall it’s good! I’d argue that it’s more enjoyable (and the price is comparable!) than Fage, although there is less protein ):.
Vanilla
It is greek, so do not expect it to be liquidy like yoplait. Also, note that the flavor profile of greek yogurt is rather tangy, so while there are 9g of sugars, the vanilla is not so sweet. It’s not sour, but it’s also not sweet in the way your traditional yogurt is.
Pumpkin Spice
This is sweet in a similar way that the vanilla one is, although it’s definitely sweeter (coming in with 13g of sugar, 8 of which are added). It’s a perfect fall snack! The flavors are well done; hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, and pumpkin all have their own distinct and separate tastes, they aren’t all blended into one!
Peach
One of my favorites. I love this after I run. It’s filling and sweet, but it’s also refreshing! I find most yogurt to be too thick, too sweet, just overall too much after a workout, but this one is perfect. It’s light and sweet, but with the perfect mix of tang. 14g of sugar (8 of which are added). 15g of carbs and 11g of protein make it excellent for quickly refueling after a hard effort.
Strawberry/ Mixed Berry
Anything with strawberry pulp is an automatic no for me, whether it’s pie, yogurt, jam, etc. While the flavor and the yogurt itself is good, the texture of stringy pulp is disturbing. I won’t personally recommend it to anyone, but if you’re into that, no judgment here!
